New dating show for Cilla
British icon Cilla Black is hoping to bring back a 'lorra lorra' love with the launch of a brand new television dating game.
In Loveland, due to hit Sky One this coming autumn, the 65-year-old entertainer will reprise a matchmaking role similar to that of Blind Date – the hit ITV show she fronted for 18 years.
|
The new dating game will use computer-generated images rather than a screen which the contestants can hide behind.
The picker has to choose between a host of hopefuls on their answers and this computer-generated image alone.
After they have picked, their date's true identity will be revealed and they will go on a date together, the Telegraph reports.
Commenting on her new role, Cilla said: "Loveland captivated me with its modern-day twist on the dating format, bringing something fresh and exciting to the genre."
