Corrie stars most fanciable, says gay poll

Corrie stars have been named the most fanciable soap opera actors in a recent gay poll, according to reports.
Rob James, who plays Liam Connor on Coronation Street, won first place in votes by gay men.
The star is apparently the man that most gay people would like to go on a date with, while co-star Alison King, who plays Carla Connor, won top spot among the lesbians in a poll by Parship
.
Next most popular were Hollyoaks actors James Sutton, who plays John Paul McQueen, and Roxanne McKee, who plays Louise Summers.
Eastenders' Sean Slater, played by Rob Kazinsky, was also found to be extremely popular among the gay population.
Adrian Gillan, website spokesman, said: "Lesbians and gays nationwide are doubtless all hoping Corrie's Carla and Liam are granted same-sex storylines.
"From Albert Square to Weatherfield, credible gay and lesbian characters may be scarce on our small screens, but this poll proves there's clearly still no shortage of gay love-interest in many of our Great British soaps."
