Trendy ties fashion 'must-haves' for men

Gone are the days when wearing a tie was just a mandatory accessory for the workplace, funerals and weddings.
Now trendy men are increasingly wearing ties in social gatherings and to impress in the dating game.
According to a survey by suit specialist Moss, tie sales are now bigger than they have ever been
.
Ties – particularly black skinny fashion ties – saw sales go up by a whopping 200 per cent in the past six months, while overall sales went up 50 per cent over the period.
Red ties saw a massive 1,000 per cent increase, with pink, black and grey ties following behind.
Commenting, Nevette Harris, tie buyer at Moss Bros Group, said: "Ties are increasingly being worn as a key fashion accessory both in the office and socially. We have found that historically, the casual dresser is opting towards a much smarter look.
"In particular, our young fashion-conscious male customers are adopting a smarter mode of dressing and the skinny tie is a key element to this look that they perhaps didn’t wear previously."
