... Brits 'having sex at work' Brits 'having sex at work'

27 October 2008

One in five UK employees has had sex in the workplace, according to a new study.

An ICM poll commissioned by the Observer found that around 20 per cent of people has had a romp at the office.

Figures show that 25 per cent of men and ten per cent of women would sleep with someone to advance their career.

The study of more than 1,000 UK citizens found that attitudes to sex are changing significantly.

One in five respondents said they did not believe monogamy was a good thing, while a further three out of ten people thought being with one person was unnatural.

A massive 45 per cent of people said they did not believe gay couples should be allowed to get married.

Figures also showed that Britons are losing their virginity earlier than older generations.

The over-65s lost their virginity on average at the age of 19, while today's youngsters lose it between the ages of 16 and 17.
