Brits prefer sightseeing to honeymoon nooky
20 March 2008
The majority of newlyweds would rather spend their first few days as Mr and Mrs seeing the sites at their holiday destination than consummating their marriage, according to a new study.
|
A quarter of newlyweds spend between £1,001 and £3,000 on their honeymoon so it seems they want to make the most of it.
Eight out of ten honeymooners said they would prefer doing another activity rather than spending their days under the duvet while away with their new husband or wife.
The study was carried out by MSC Cruises, which wanted to find out about the honeymooning habits of the 250,000 couples that tie the knot in the UK each year.
While they might prefer to do other things than stay in bed with their partner during their honeymoon, 100 per cent of Britons think they are important and make sure they have some kind of honeymoon.
