Couple find love in a lift

In proof that you can find love anywhere, a couple who met in a lift in Cardiff are now planning their wedding.

Kirk Bowling and Elizabeth Evans first clocked eyes on each other at the lift in their apartment block.
Although it was a month later till they saw each other again, discovering they both shared a mutual friend put them in social contact with each other.
Eight months after they first met and 24-year-old Kirk popped the question in the lift where they first met.
The romantic doctor filled the lift with his girlfriend's favourite pink lilies, as well as candles and chocolates and conspired with the concierge to ensure the proposal went smoothly.
Elizabeth, a 23-year-old trainee lawyer, told a local newspaper: "I was kind of expecting a proposal but the way he did it was a surprise.
"I thought it was so sweet and original. I was shaking and crying and everything he said was so sweet."
The loved-up couple are planning to get married next summer.
