Differences drove Cerys and Marc apart

Cerys Matthews and Marc Bannerman split up because the actor could not deal with the former Catatonia singer being a single mother, she has revealed.

The pair, who had been dating ever since they met on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! announced they had split up earlier this month.
Cerys dumped the former EastEnders actor because they were both very different, with Bannerman even taking a dislike to the Welsh beauty's clothes.
She told the News of the World: "I remember him saying 'Have you got any other jumpers?' I think he was surprised that I lived so simply, hate shopping and don't have a fancy wardrobe."
It also seemed that 34-year-old Marc was not prepared to take on responsibility for the 38-year-old singer's two children.
She also revealed that Marc's controlling behaviour was too much for her to handle.
The star said: "I remember us going for an Indian meal, one of the only two proper dates we ever had, and he chose what I should eat.
"He picked the wine and the food, which was a shock. I didn't tell him I prefer to order my own stuff because our relationship was so new."
