Eva Longoria the 'gardener' in her marriage

Eva Longoria Parker definitely has an odd way with words as the actress described herself as the "gardener" in her marriage, in a recent interview with America's Glamour magazine.

Perhaps not as strange as it may at first sound, the Desperate Housewives star explained that her husband is "the flower" and that she enjoys nurturing him and looking after him.
She did concede that there are times when her basketball-star partner Tony Parker "takes care of [her] in an emotional sense".
It seems that the real life Ms Longoria would have more in common with Bree Van de Kamp, rather than her sex-siren Desperate Housewives alter-ego, Gabrielle Solis.
The 33-year-old explained that she really is a "very 50s housewife". She said: "I love having dinner ready and making sure his clothes are ironed and that he's packed and ready when he goes on road trips."
She admitted that because marriage is a commitment you have to work at it but also said that the couple "take it day by day".
The couple were engaged on November 30th, 2006 and had a church wedding in Paris on July 7th, 2007.
