Finding love is top New Year's resolution

As many people set about drafting their resolutions for the New Year there are some old favourites which seem to appear in everyone's list - do more exercise, find my perfect job, take up a new hobbie and find my ideal partner.

And the top resolution is finding love in the New Year. Some 64 per cent of single adults between 30 and 59 place finding romance as their number one priority.
'Out with the old' resolutions came nest on the list, including kicking bad habits and unhealthy behaviour, the poll by PerfectMatch revealed.
Duane Dahl, who worked on the survey, said: "There are many great things about the start of the New Year, including the fact it's an invitation, in essence, to creating a new outlook on life.
"We all know some New Year's resolutions can be difficult to fulfil. But resolving to find love? This remains a most worthy and inspirational pursuit, especially considering the end result."
