Groom's brother steps in at wedding

The younger brother of the groom at a wedding in India recently ended up marrying the bride.
When the groom turned up to the ceremony drunk and behaved inappropriately with some of his in-laws-to-be, it was decided that he was too drink to marry his teen bride, so his younger brother was called in

And the younger brother was happy to step in and take the bride's hand in marriage.
Madho Singh, a police officer, told Reuters: "The groom was drunk and had reportedly misbehaved with guests when the bride's family and local villagers chased him away.
"The groom has apologised for his behaviour, but has been crying that word will spread and he will never get a bride again."
The drunken older brother is said to be worried about his future prospects of finding a wife as word is expected to spread of his recent misdemeanours.
