Jessica Simpson gushes over sports-star boyfriend

Singer Jessica Simpson has revealed details of her relationship with American football star Tony Romo, in an interview with Glamour.

She has only been dating the Dallas Cowboys quarterback since November last year, but the pop star seems to be smitten.
"He reintroduced me to myself," Simpson tells the magazine: "I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy... Tony taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again."
"He's the most focused person I've ever dated," she continues: "I love Dallas. I love the Cowboys."
The couple's relationship began when Romo revealed an affection for the singer in a TV interview, and then after some initial flirting Simpson took her whole family to watch the sports star play.
After much-publicised relationships with musicians John Mayer and Nick Lachey, Simpson is rarely off the front pages, and she and Lachey even starred in a reality TV show, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, detailing their everyday lives as a married couple. They divorced in 2006.
