Love at the office party

With the season of office parties upon us, many colleagues are taking the opportunity to spark up a romance with those they have been eyeing over the top of their monitors for the last 12 months.

But wine festive cheer flowing readily, some people are taking things further than they mean to, resulting in an awkward morning after at the office.
Some 49 per cent of office workers in England would go all the way with a colleague if they had the chance, reports the Daily Mail, and the Christmas party is one of the few occasions on the work calendar where such an opportunity may present itself.
Indeed, 33 per cent admit that they have had sex with a co-worker at or after the Christmas party.
Some three out of five British women have confessed that it is extremely likely they will do something they regret at their office's Christmas event.
Those classed as mature and married were the most likely to be involved in a misdemeanour of some sort, with those working in accounts in second place.
But those looking to indulge in some romance at the Christmas party should tread carefully, especially if it's the boss they've got their eye on.
