Love on the rocks

When soldier Shaun Mancinelli proposed to his girlfriend Llian Randall on an island off the Welsh coast last week, she got more than she bargained for when the couple had to be rescued.
They became stranded on the island as the tide came in and had to call the coastguard who brought them to safety

Ms Randall said: "We had to walk across rocks to get to a lighthouse on the island and he got down on one knee to propose."
Following her, acceptance, the couple realised the path by which they had arrived had become submerged.
She continued: "Shaun said: 'Clothes off, we're going to swim it,' but I replied 'No, we're not!'.
"I had to call 999 and the coastguards arrived about 15 minutes later."
While the couple were waiting to be rescued, they were coincidentally treated to a show by the Red Arrows, which featured a giant red heart with an arrow through it painted by the planes in the sky.
And the couple were not phased by their ordeal, enjoying an Italian meal once they were back on dry land to celebrate their engagement.
