Standing on a beer crate turned upside-down in the streets of Tokyo, the men are announcing to the public that they will mend their ways and telling the women in their lives their true feelings.

One man apologised to his wife for always failing to put the toilet seat down.

Another said: "I hereby declare that I will stop going to the hostess bar. I'm sorry."

Meanwhile another declared: "I love you, even though I don't really say it."

The men who came up with the idea gave it the motto: "Say 'thank you' without hesitating. Say 'sorry' without being scared. Say 'I love you' without being shy."

And the men are said to be turning over a new leaf when they get off the podium, thanking their wives for all that they do for them.

It seems maybe men from around the world could learn a lesson or two from Tokyo's reformed.ADNFCR-1043-ID-18348298-ADNFCR
