Men harnessing 'pulling power of puds'
22 October 2008
The days of a man inviting you inside after a date for a 'coffee' are over, according to new research, which suggests that puddings are becoming the perfect way to woo women.

A study by Farmhouse Fare reveals the rising popularity of celebrity male chefs including James Martin and Gordon Ramsay has put men more in touch with their manly baking side.
And these culinary masters are feeling the need to impress their prospective Miss Rights with their home-cooking skills.
Sixty per cent of men said they would include a pudding as part of a romantic meal and one in three admitted to feeding their loved one some pudding to their partner to get them in the mood.
Helen Colley, founder of Farmhouse Fare, who create luxurious and indulgent puddings, comments: "It's no surprise to me that the nation is so passionate about puddings, as I've loved them all of my life and grew up recreating my great-grandmother's pudding recipes which still inspire me today.
"Although I did have a chuckle when I found out that men were using puds as a seduction tool as I've always created Farmhouse Fare's puddings with families in mind."
