Men vote for long locks on women

Men find long hair sexiest on a woman, according to new research which sees celebrity hair-dos sported by the likes of Cheryl Cole come out on top.

The X Factor judge's 'do and TV presenter Kelly Brook's haircut were voted the most attractive in a recent poll.
They scored 43 per cent of the vote, followed by Friends star Jennifer Aniston's hair and the classic bob sported by Bajan beauty Rihanna.
Radio One DJ Fearne Cotton's straight mid-length hairstyle came fourth, followed by Posh Spice's new pixie crop cut.
Next most popular was the long bob, while bowl cuts took five per cent of the vote and the beehive scored four per cent.
Karen Moore of TRESemme Philips hair appliances, which undertook the study, said: "Hair is such a defining part of a woman's appearance.
"Long hair is traditionally strongly linked to femininity which we're sure is the reason that almost half of men have singled out this long, thick, wavy hair as their number one sexiest style."
She added it was interesting to see that men still seem to prefer the traditional stereotypical long locks.
Interestingly, the poll found that while one in five men rarely notice if a woman changes her hair, 80 per cent think you can tell a lot about a girl from her 'do.
