.
Choosing the location is an important consideration. Will it be somewhere that means something to the two of you, or will it be somewhere that speaks volumes about how you feel about the woman of your dreams? Whether is a restaurant, a park or the location of your first date, choose somewhere that you think she will find special.
Would she appreciate you popping the question in public? Generally this is not the case, so choose somewhere you won't be disturbed which allows you to enjoy the precious moment together.
If you are feeling stuck, consult friends for advice. See if she has told her friends of any dream proposal ideas, or ask a married friend how he popped the question and build on this inspiration.
But whatever you choose, make it personal and unique to the two of you.
