She's one of the most eligible single women in the world, but Mariah Carey isn't a fan of traditional dating.

Instead, the 37-year-old singer is keen to share her charms with a wider audience and give speed dating a try.
"I really like the idea of speed dating," she revealed. "I like the idea of 15 mini-relationships each lasting three minutes and then you go home alone."
However, those seeking to woo the warbler will have to be original.
"What is a date supposed to be like in the 21st Century?" she mused. "It's a bit old-fashioned and formal for me. I mean, I don't need to know if the guy can afford to buy dinner, do I?"
Since divorcing her record executive husband Tommy Mottola ten years ago, Carey has been romantically linked to a string of men including rapper Eminem and baseball star Derek Jeter.
She was the most successful recording artist of the 1990s, according to Billboard magazine.
