Top honeymoon cities

A survey by TheKnot.com has revealed the world's top city destinations for honeymooners, ready to soak up the romance of their first weeks of marital life.

In the top spot is the old favourite Paris. Whether it's trying out the endless street cafes, scaling the Eiffel Tower, taking a walk by the Seine or exploring art work at the Louvre, couples can't fail to be swept away by the romance of the city, reports 7online.com.
The watery city of Venice is in the number two spot, where newlyweds will not be able to resist a ride on a gondola through Venice's multiple waterways.
Italy also holds third position, with Rome and Florence. Boasting a multitude of fine art and some of the world's most famous religious images, the cities promise to give couples a cultural trip away.
New York presents are highly fashionable option for honeymooners, with Times Square as a hub. But the side streets around are to offer a more authentic experience.
And in at number five is Honolulu in Hawaii. With sunsets and incredible beaches, as well as the chance to shop for some local pieces to furnish your marital home, along with gardens and ghost tour, couples will certainly come away with a honeymoon to remember.
