Weather 'could lead to a frisky holiday'
1 May 2008
Warm weather and an abundance of free time will ensure that this May Bank Holiday is the most sexually-active vacation of the year, it has been claimed.
|
According to relationship expert Duncan Mitchell, dating and married couples alike will be unable to take their hands off each other come Monday - and he says that even those who are single are likely to have more success than usual.
"Most adults will enjoy a bit of between-the-sheets action at some point over the weekend," he told the Daily Star.
"It's a combination of lighter nights, warmer weather, a bit of extra free time, and the feeling of fun and friskiness. It's the time birds and animals think about mating - it's only natural for humans to feel the same. For anyone who is single, this would be the perfect opportunity to try to chat up someone who catches their eye."
The BBC expects temperatures to reach 22C in Britain on Monday, although the Bank Holiday does also bring the prospect of rain.
However, if Mr Mitchell's predictions are anything to go by it's unlikely that couples will notice if the heavens open - they'll all be in bed.
