What women want: more than just good looks
24 April 2008
A man with a great personality and good sense of humour is more attractive than one who is just good to look at, according to a survey.

For British women it seems what's inside counts more than what is outside, with girls looking for a guy who is intelligent, protective and caring.
Around five per cent of the ladies said it was very important that their ideal partner was good looking, while others said it was either unimportant or just fairly important.
Of the 3,000 women surveyed by Woman & Home and men's aftershave Aramis, just 31 per cent said their man's physique was important, the Daily Mail reports.
But when chosen to pick the famous pin-up with the best physique, the respondents voted actor Daniel Craig in first place, followed by David Beckham and Brad Pitt.
When it came to other celebrity hottie categories, Leatherheads actor George Clooney was voted as having the best haircut and the dreamiest eyes.
Sue James, editor of Woman & Home, told the Mail: "It's fascinating to see how ideas about the 'perfect' man have altered over time as women's earning power has increased and they've become the main breadwinner or earning an equal salary as their partners.
"Some things never change though... George Clooney is still most women's fantasy pin-up."
