Women 'more web savvy'
1 April 2008
Women in the US are now more web-savvy than their male counterparts, according to new research.
|
A survey by Solutions Research Group revealed that the girls now use social networking more, as well as lead the way in PC gaming and online network TV shows.
The girls have also grasped the benefits of using their computers to find their perfect match by dating online, it seems.
Using online dating sites are a great way to meet new people in this day and age where we are leading increasingly busier lives.
The survey, conducted between October 2006 and February 2008 found that 42 per cent of women had visited a social networking site in the past month.
This was slightly ahead of the 41 per cent of men who had visited such sites within the last four weeks, the research found.
