Women sacrificing food to look good

The average British woman will spend the equivalent of 840 days of her life in front of the mirror, according to a new survey.

Whether it is in a bid to look her best before a date with her potential Mr Right or whether it is just to give herself some confidence, women are spending a lot of time and money on their looks.
According to website feelunique.com, women are even sacrificing food in order to pay for costly beauty products.
A third of women said they would rather eat less than go without their cosmetics, while three quarters of women classed cosmetics as everyday essentials instead of luxuries.
The average women spends £11.53 a week on cosmetics – a whopping £33,575 in her lifetime, the Daily Mail reports.
Bethan Cole, a beauty expert, told the paper: "A good beauty product is worth every penny and it's a small luxury that can make up for hardship in other areas of life."
