If you are hoping to meet a kind, generous, caring lady, then here I am. I have been on my own for far too long and I am hoping to change this. I have three grown up daughters, all married with children and I am loving being a grandma but it is not quite enough. In the past I have had my work but now I am retired and realise that it is time I became proactive and did something to find that certain someone to walk hand in hand along the shore or down a sunny boulevard or a walk in the countryside. And then.... Who knows? I am an avid F1 fan. Love Jane Austen but my book of choice would be a detective thriller.

I am retired now but when I was working it was mainly in admin. I was a PA for 12 years in Brussels when I was living in Belgium. I have also worked as an admin assistant for child protection services, taking the minutes at conferences, when I returned to the UK.

The Mirror, I am not a big reading of newspapers but I mainly read through quickly and then concentrate on the puzzle pages. I enjoy crosswords and Sudoku.

I am living in a flat now and pets are not allowed. I am an animal lover and it is my one regret that I can't have a little dog or a cat.
