Following retirement 10 years ago, I now work as a volunteer support worker and facilitator within an organisation working to eradicate domestic abuse.

Spiritual rather than religious. I enjoy meditation as and when I think about it , or when I'm enjoying a spa break that offers meditation. I have been known to practice tai chi. I have no strong views regarding others beliefs.
I suppose I would have to say a socially aware conservative.
I'm influenced very much by my children, who have had a very different upbringing to mine, my past life as a business woman and my work now as a volunteer.

I have a mini schnauzer called Ralphie. He's a well behaved dog who fits into my life. He has his own holiday home when I'm at mine. I love it that he takes me for walks everyday and we both enjoy time at the beach
