I have two sons, age 26 and 24 who are rarely around and of whom I'm very proud. I also have dogs (working breeds - real dogs, not handbag dogs!) along with a support network to make sure they don't restrict my life too much. They are great dogs, but getting on a bit now, and I don't intend having any more of my own when they're gone - I have ideas about how I will get my 'fix' - helping other dog owners to have a bit of freedom! I love walking, especially in the Lake District or the West Country or along a Sandy beach. Would love to get away for weekends on a fairly regular basis...if only I had a lovely man to go with! And I love my holidays - home or away - regular short breaks are a great way to re-charge the batteries I find! I also really enjoy going to watch live bands (tho' not usually in massive venues) and like most kinds of music. Like eating out, but never fast food, and a lot less meat these days. I find gardening relaxing and rewarding and I've an eye for a great photograph. Other interests are herbal medicine and I'm passionate about animal welfare and environmental issues. I NEED to be swept off my feet by a cheeky chap with a twinkle in his eye! Ideally who loves animals and nature who would like to drink champagne with me and dance around the coffee table!! I'm hoping to find someone to build a future with - not interested in casual dalliances!!
