Here are their tips:

1. South Kensington’s V&A Museum. A great place to take your date if you are on a limited budget. The Telegraph specially recommends sharing tea and cake in the William Morris room,

2. Rivoli Ballroom, in Lewisham. The only original 1950’s ballroom left in London is the Rivoli Ballroom, in Lewisham, It is a "Romantic knockout". Swing and jive are the dominating dances and a big excuse to "Cosy up with a partner".

3. Highgate Cemetery. For something a little different - head for the macabre majesty of Highgate Cemetery. Acres of winding paths take you through gardens and past the statues and Gothic tombs of the Victorians. "If the beautiful eeriness doesn’t leave you hand in hand, then perhaps it will leave you clinging together."

4. Columbia Road Flower Market On Sunday’s, the street is filled with plants, flowers and shrubs from one end to another. "An early morning stroll can set up a week of warm fuzzy feeling."

As the article concludes : "London doesn’t have to strive to be romantic, it just is, with its effortless, nonchalant charm that lurks around every corner."
High praise indeed - thank you Belfast!
